Caracteristics

Liquid additive for improving flexibility and waterproofing of mortars, adhesives or cement-based jointing putties. HIDROFLEX additive is a white synthetic resin dispersion, having a slightly viscous appearance and being water soluble. PRIMING is carried out by applying the product with a brush or painting roller on the base layer that is to be covered with ceramic plates. This operation is done approx. 15 minutes before applying the adhesive. Film formation shall be avoided. Priming shall be done only if this operation is necessary (critical layer from the absorption perspective). ADDING ADDITIVES to an adhesive, mortar or jointing putty is done only when this is necessary for improving the flexibility or waterproofing characteristics of these materials. Adding additives also ensures improvement in adhesion and resistance against aggressive chemical agents for the final product.
