RENOVA ANTISARE is a water-soluble transparent solution with very low viscosity allowing it to penetrate deep into the pore spaces of all the materials conventionally used in construction work.
RENOVA ANTISARE is a saline anti-efflorescence agent, for any type of water-soluble salt, applicable on any type of traditional masonry material, normally absorbent, with medium or low alkalescency (bricks, roof tiles, arch bricks, autoclave-cured cellular concrete, natural stones, etc).
Areas of application: RENOVA ANTISARE is used for restoration of masonry works affected by water seepage, as this type of water always contains salts which can be recognized by the permanent marks they leave on the exterior of the building.
Preparing the base layer: When restoring masonry works affected by water seepage, the first step to take is always that of cleaning the old masonry work, both on the inside and on the outside, including approx. 1 m above the damaged area, and then, washing the area very well with water, if possible with a hose and wire brush; then the respective area is treated to the maximum with RENOVA ANTISARE. Product application: After the base layer has dried, RENOVA ANTISARE is persistently applied with the help of a painting roller or a masons brush, in order to ensure that the product has penetrated deep into the pore spaces of the base layer on which it is applied.
Thin coating with osmotic permeation based on Portland cement, siliceous sand, selected inert materials and specific water-soluble additives. RENOVA APASTOP is used for waterproofing walls affected by water seepage, covered or uncovered swimming pools, water delivery channels, interior of semi basements, foundation walls and other concrete walls affected by humidity. The product is prepared by mixing a 25 kg powder sack with 6 l (240 ml/kg) of clean and cold water. After mixing, the paste is left to rest for about 10 minutes and it is mixed again for 1 - 2 minutes; afterwards it can be used provided that the moments of using the product are observed. After being prepared, the product is applied in two layers, each being 1 - 2 mm thick; the second layer shall be applied after the first one has dried (approx. 12 hours after its application). Application is done with the hawk, one layer being applied longitudinally, the other- transversally. Large and flat surfaces will be reinforced with a glass fiber net with a specific weight of approx. 150 g/m². The net should be incorporated into the top part of the first layer. Average consumption: 2 - 3 kg/ m².
RENOVA MORTAR is a macro-porous dry mortar based on siliceous sand, Portland cement, and specific water-soluble additives RENOVA MORTAR is used for the exterior coating of masonry work affected by capillary water seepage. The product is prepared by mixing a 25 kg powder sack with 6.3 l (250 ml/kg) of clean and cold water. After mixing, the paste is left to rest for about 10 minutes and it is mixed again for 1-2 minutes; afterwards it can be used provided that the moments of using the product are observed. The mortar is applied on the layer which has been previously cleaned, washed and treated with RENOVA ANTISARE. The mortar is applied in two layers, having a total thickness of at least 25 mm. After about 24 hours, the surface is plastered with RENOVA GLET and, after approx. 30 days, it is painted exclusively with an exudation dye. Average consumption: 8 kg/ m²/cm.
RENOVA MORTAR is an exterior exudation plaster based on siliceous sand, Portland cement, and water-soluble additives. RENOVA GLET is used for finishing exterior dehumidifying coatings. The resulted paste is applied with the help of a grouter, in two layers, each layer being less than 5 mm thick. The first layer is applied by ensuring that the coating macropores are completely covered. The second finishing layer is applied approx. 2 hours after the first layer, in a crisscross manner. After about 28 - 30 days, the surface is painted exclusively with an exudation dye. Average consumption: 3 kg /m².
